How long is the warranty and what does it cover?
Cinderella offers a 3-year warranty for residential use and a 1-year warranty for commercial use. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.
What is not covered under the warranty?
The warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, normal wear and tear, environmental damage, unauthorised repairs, or the use of non-original parts. Travel and call-out costs are also not included.
How Do I Register My Product?
To register your product, complete the warranty registration form below.
You will need to provide your serial number, email address, purchase date, and clear photos of your installation. All required information must be submitted before use to ensure your warranty is valid.

Warrant Coverage
ECOASH provides warranty coverage for Cinderella® Incineration Toilets under normal use conditions.
Residential use is covered by a 3-year warranty, while commercial and industrial use is covered by a 1-year limited warranty. Commercial use includes (but is not limited to) Airbnb, rental properties, construction, forestry, and similar applications.
This warranty applies from the date of purchase and is non-transferable, covering the original purchaser only.
What is Covered?
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
ECOASH will determine, at its sole discretion, whether a product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded. Any remedy will take into account the product’s age, condition, and usage at the time of the claim.
Support may include replacement parts, technical assistance, or approved servicing.
What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect or incomplete installation
- Failure to meet warranty activation requirements
- Misuse, neglect, or operation outside manufacturer guidelines
- Environmental damage or external factors
- Normal wear and tear
- Unauthorised repairs, servicing, or modifications
- Use of non-original Cinderella parts
- Service where no fault is found
- Technician travel, call-out, or transport costs
Warranty Activation
To validate your warranty, the following must be completed before use:
- Submit the warranty registration form via ecoash.co.nz
- Provide all required installation photos
- Complete any requested installation corrections
- Submit updated photos confirming compliance
Failure to complete these steps may result in your warranty being void.
Product Assessment
For approved warranty claims, ECOASH reserves the right to assess the product’s condition, age, usage, and maintenance history.
Any repair, replacement, or refund may reflect the condition of the unit at the time of the claim. Inspection may be required before a final decision is made.

Service Options
Depending on the situation, ECOASH offers:

- On-site service (travel costs apply)
- Parts and remote technical support
Parts Availability
ECOASH will make reasonable efforts to supply replacement parts in a timely manner.
If required parts are not available in New Zealand, they may need to be ordered from the manufacturer in Norway. In such cases, extended lead times may apply.
ECOASH is not liable for delays caused by international shipping, supplier availability, or circumstances outside of its control.
Installation Responsibility
The customer is responsible for ensuring the product is installed in accordance with ECOASH and manufacturer guidelines.
Incorrect installation or failure to meet activation requirements may void the warranty.
LPG Units
All servicing, maintenance, and repairs for LPG toilets must be carried out by an authorised person in accordance with New Zealand regulations. Check with us if you are unsure.
ECOASH is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper servicing.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, ECOASH is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, accommodation costs, or business interruption.
Liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or original purchase value of the product.
Non-Transferable Warranty
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
It cannot be transferred, assigned, or extended to any subsequent owner, user, or third party, including in the event of resale, property sale, or change of ownership.
Proof of original purchase may be required to validate any warranty claim.
Consumer Guarantees Act
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under New Zealand law.
