The WaterMate irrigation kit is a kit designed for the dispersal of greywater from the small WaterMate unit. This kit comes as a complete kit with everything needed. This kit allows you to spread the greywater out of a large enough surface area, to stop any ponding or puddling. This is important, as when the greywater is left to pond or puddle, smell will occur and also the greywater can potentially run off into nearby waterways or neighbouring properties.
The dripper line is a specific dripper line that is designed for greywater dispersal, and the dripper line emitters are 8L/hr at 0.3mtr spacings, giving a total flow rate of 44.4L/min flow rate over the 100mtrs.
Once laid out onsite, the dripline needs to be covered with mulch, and the purple valves need to be flushed periodically.

You don’t replace the whole unit, the WaterMate comes with washable and replaceableble filters. Depending on your household's water use, it is recommended that you wash these filters ever 2-3 months.
Can I install myself?
Yes. WaterMate can be installed by a licensed plumber or a confident DIYer, provided it's mounted outside with power and pipe access, following local regulations.
