Shipping policy
Overview
Ecoash ships products across New Zealand using trusted freight and courier providers. Shipping options and costs will be displayed at checkout or confirmed prior to dispatch depending on the size and destination of the order. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on location, freight provider schedules, and other factors outside our control.
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
For larger items or customised products, additional processing time may apply.
Shipping Methods
We use a combination of:
- courier services for small parts and accessories
- freight carriers for large or heavy items such as toilets or equipment.
Shipping providers may include national courier or freight companies depending on the delivery address.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times within New Zealand:
- North Island: 2–5 business days
- South Island: 3–7 business days
Delivery to rural areas or remote locations may take longer.
Please note that these timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Freight Deliveries
Large items such as incineration toilets or sanitation equipment may be delivered via pallet freight.
Freight deliveries may require:
- suitable access for delivery vehicles
- assistance with unloading
- collection from a local depot if delivery access is restricted.
Installation services are not included with product delivery unless otherwise agreed.
Rural Delivery
Additional delivery time and charges may apply to rural addresses. Where possible, customers may choose delivery to a nearby business address or freight depot.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- delivery location
- size and weight of the order
- freight provider rates.
For large items or commercial orders, shipping costs may be confirmed separately before dispatch.
Delivery Responsibility
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the product has been dispatched to the freight carrier.
Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery where a signature is required.
Freight Damage
All goods should be inspected upon delivery.
If an item arrives damaged:
- Notify Ecoash within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the product and packaging
- Include your order number and description of the issue.
Failure to report freight damage within this timeframe may affect our ability to lodge a claim with the freight provider.
Delivery Delays
Ecoash is not responsible for delays caused by:
- freight carrier issues
- weather events
- customs processing
- supply chain disruptions
- circumstances outside our control.
We will do our best to assist customers in resolving delivery issues where possible.
